![]() So, I'm not sure how permanent the fix would be. If the light is not flashing then there may be a blown fuse in the battery charger which can be replaced. I have not used the "revived" batteries for any length of time. 1 Posted: Options If your battery won’t charge, first look to see if the light is flashing on the charger you plug into the wall. You should notice that the old battery will charge again whereas before it wouldn't. Make sure to strip the ends of the wire to ensure connection to the terminals.Ģ) Connect a second wire from the B+ terminal in the same way you did for step 1ģ) Give it about 10-15 seconds and then remove the wiresĤ) Place the old battery onto the charger. I used some left over wire from a fan install I had done. I made sure the contacts were clean and nothing changed. ![]() When I put the packs back on my drill, there was no juice, no rotation. When I put them on the charger it would notify the packs were charged. I had two 20V packs that drained all the way down. I just tried this process out last night and it worked. If the battery charges and the drill still does not work, but the trigger works, the problem is most likely with the motor. Turn on the battery to see if it charges. If the drill does not work, try charging a battery. ![]() I wanted to share this so you might save a little money and not have to throw out potentially usable batteries. Solution/s If you have a spare battery, connect it to the drill to see if it works. ![]()
